SwissIX Peering Policy

We follow a open peering policy, and we recommend an open policy to our participants too. However it's up to you whether to peer with other participants or not. Peering agreements must always be done bilateral between participants and are under no circumstances an issue of the SwissIX association.

There is only one limitation: You have to peer with the SwissIX router (AS20612, 194.242.34.126) in order that we have a connectivity check and can do some statistics. If you would like to provide free IP Transit for the SwissIX server infrastructure, please give us a shout. We like sponsors!

SwissIX does not provide any route-server or route-reflector facilities.
